Introducing Fashion Society – the new after school creative hub for young people, aged 13-18, with a fascination for fashion.
The Course
This exciting course has been designed for those who want a broad understanding of the fashion industry and the career opportunities that exist. During the sessions the students will get to explore design, branding, trends, business, buying, styling, photography, sustainability, PR and marketing.
The Students will also learn about the social, economic and cultural factors effecting the fashion industry today.This course is unique in that as well as being delivered by lead tutors, there will also be visiting lecturers and interviews with photographers, stylists, art directors, buyers, make-up artists, business owners, journalists and theorists.
This is a unique and remarkable introduction and insight for our future fashionistas to soak up the experiences these professionals have to share.The course will be held at school from 4-6 pm via a live online video link to the tutor, with lots of opportunities to ask questions. Actual dates will be confirmed by the school.
